Commissioned Work

I have been told that I have a very individualized style for my oil paintings. I do like color and distinction. Detail is important to me. And I know that I have years of improvement ahead of me before I become a good artist. For me to create a work of art on commission, my client must want my style, and I believe, be courageous!

It is an honor and a compliment to receive a commission. It should be hard work, bringing the client's idea, vacation or special moment to a living piece of art. Obviously, size, subject, shading, time frame and payment structure are just a few of the considerations. Do not hesitate to call or email me to start preparing a canvas for you, or as a gift...............

Your assistance, be it photographs, a written description or simply a conversation, is an invitation to create. I will provide you with a quote for each piece of art. A down payment starts the painting process. Weekly photographs will be provided for you to follow the painting process. Those photographs will also allow you an opportunity to suggest ideas, value and any other changes that are desired.

Once the painting is complete, final payment is due. The finished oil will then be presented to you.
